Bishopscourt

Drawing on the inspiring backdrop of the wooded slopes of Table Mountain above we used a large number of mature indigenous trees which were arranged for screening around the perimeter with more set in the park-like lawn. What was a barren, rubble-strewn site for many years before has been transformed into a lush indigenous garden with flowering proteas and fynbos in the sunnier positions, plus more shade-tolerant ferns, grasses and bulbs in the cooler sections. Large stone gabions mimic the cliffs above and tier the garden with gravel paths and staircases creating a garden that needs to be explored.
